About us

 SuDance works closely with Empowering Lives Internationally, a faith based non-profit 501 C (3) that has well established projects in southern Sudan that need funding.  In July of 2007 DJ A.J. Mora began to explore mixing again and was enjoying reconnecting with old friends and making new ones when this idea occurred to him... What if a bridge was created for the global dance community to bring awareness and aid to the suffering people of Sudan? At that time SuDance was born! When A.J. presented his idea to veteran DJ and friend Scott Blackwell the fire really started heating up. Scott began to explore the idea with his celebrity headlining DJ friends as did Mora and the response was the same each time, “how can we help?” Both Mora and Blackwell attended the Winter Music Conference 2008 in Miami with the objective being to “inform and enlist”. Mission accomplished and SuDance was launched to the Global Dance Music community. On April 12^th a fundraising event was held in the Beverly Hills Hotel that attracted several likeminded humanitarians and philanthropists which also launched SuDance officially to the corporate world.  To date the dream continues to grow as RemixOurWorld.org makes it possible for needs around the world to be bridged by the resources of Global Dance Music Community.
